Consulting services

Trinity Rehab Services can assist providers in maximizing reimbursement to ensure financial success through auditing. Audits may be completed to address overall documentation and compliance, or to address a more specific concern such as those highlighted by the CASPER Reports. Throughout the auditing process we assist providers in focusing educational efforts and tracking results.
Trinity Rehab Services can review and audit records to ensure:
Regulatory compliance for medical review readiness.
Support for medically necessary care.
Section GG support in relation to PDPM scoring.
Positive impact on CMI and/or quality reporting.
Trinity Rehab Services can provide education and resources for managing claims throughout the medical review process. From an Additional Documentation Request through the final steps of the appeal process, we assist our partners with traditional Medicare and other insurer FFS claims and value-based claims related to inpatient, outpatient, and home health services. This includes reviews by the MAC, RAC, CERT, UPIC, or OIG.

Backing for ADLs in relation to therapy and/or RUG scoring.

Medical Review Management

Restorative Nursing Program Management Support

At Trinity Rehab Services, we closely monitor the Medicare denials and appeals processes. With the help of our software system, we are able to track all ADRs as well as denied claims and Medicare Appeals.

Working together with customer billing staff, we are able to capture accurate information related to denied claims. With this accurate information we quickly initiate and monitor the Medicare Appeals process and thereby increase the success rate for payment.

In addition, our Medicare denial prevention and management processes are closely intertwined with our education and compliance processes so that continuity of care is maintained and reimbursement is timely.
